• 34% of cancer deaths among all U.S. adults ages 25 to 74 could be prevented if socioeconomic disparities were eliminated

I so badly wanted my husband’s cancer to just go away that I would have followed any order given to us by our oncologist/radiologist.

I am eternally grateful for family who challenged the (outdated) status quo and pushed for better specialized cancer treatment.

It’s been a fight that family have fought on our behalf with years of wisdom, knowledge and time (my in-laws are retired) - something that neither myself (I work full-time) or my husband (chemo brain) could have taken on.
